Tourism Australia appoints We Are George as content and social media agency for Discover Aboriginal Experiences collective

We Are George has been appointed content and social media agency for Tourism Australia’s Discover Aboriginal Experiences (DAE) portfolio.

Part of the esteemed Signature Experiences of Australia collective, Discover Aboriginal Experiences is a flagship suite of more than 45 extraordinary operators, offering 180 Aboriginal-guided experiences across the country.

Each member in DAE collective is considered a leader in Aboriginal tourism, with experiences spanning one-hour tours to multi-day odysseys, in both urban and regional locations.

“We Are George has a long-standing working relationship with Tourism Australia, and has built up a nuanced and highly specialised understanding of the country’s Indigenous tourism landscape, its people and their stories, over our years of collaboration,” says We Are George CGO, Georgia Rickard.

“Having worked with the Discover Aboriginal Experiences portfolio since inception in 2018, we’re pleased to be developing its narratives in new and exciting ways across its digital offerings on the DAE website, blog and social media platforms.

We’re particularly pleased to have appointed Natasha Dragun as Contributing Editor to the account, given her extensive relationships across the industry, intimate product knowledge and well-established stakeholder connections.”
